Flight Times
Ballooning is a 'must' in the Hawke's Bay and Wairarapa regions!
Your flight takes place in the early morning within the first few hours of the sunrise. Conditions are usually clear, calm, stable and romantic.
Part of the ballooning magic is that you never know in advance where you might land. A balloon cannot be steered, it drifts with the wind, so we may land in a paddock, on a dry riverbed, in a park, or maybe in school grounds.
Flight time is about 1 hour but may be varied at the pilot's discretion. Allow approximately 4 hours from pick-up time.
Safety
A flight will be cancelled without hesitation should the weather conditions be unsuitable. All balloons and pilots are licensed and approved by the Civil Aviation Authority.
